Low Carbon Cereals

From Margins to Market Advantage: Farming for a Low Carbon Future

27th June 2025

Following the success of last year’s pioneering event that brought growers and consumers together for the first time, we are proud to present the 2025 Low Carbon Conference — a landmark occasion focused on bridging margin pressure with opportunity through carbon rewards and innovation.

The Speakers

Attend the event to hear from companies such as Marks and Spencer, BASF, Fertiberia, and of course Bartholomews

From Margins to Market Advantage: Farming for a Low Carbon Future

This year’s programme explores the evolution of practical, profitable solutions in low-carbon farming. You’ll hear directly from leading food brands and technology providers as we showcase how carbon contracts, cutting-edge agronomy, and digital platforms are unlocking value across the supply chain.

Designed to support multi-year rotations and ensure long-term market access, our approach is built around real farms, real progress, and real returns. Whether you’re already making changes or just starting out, this conference offers the insights and partnerships to help you move forward with confidence.

What to Expect:

  • Marks & Spencer will outline their commitment to Net Zero, revealing an exclusive low-carbon cereal initiative and outlining how growers can align with future sourcing strategies through verified carbon contracts.

  • Fertiberia will introduce Impact Zero – the UK’s only green fertiliser produced entirely with renewable energy and distributed exclusively by Bartholomews – and share its role in reducing input-related emissions.

  • BASF will present their next-generation carbon platform, powered by Xarvio Field Manager, demonstrating how precision technology is helping growers reduce emissions and meet Scope 3 compliance standards.

You’ll also gain a first look at Bartholomews’ national low-carbon fertiliser trial results, and explore new tiered agronomy packages (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), tailored to meet the evolving needs of progressive farms — from nutrient management to sustainability metrics.
