The contract is for an agreed tonnage of wheat. The wheat must conform to all UK and EU regulations pertaining to food products in existence at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the seller to declare on the grain passport what, if any, post-harvest chemical treatments including pesticides have been used on the grains.
Movement
Movement will be buyers call during the Contract Period. The buyer undertakes to move all priced wheat within the nominated period of movement provided the sample has been approved. The buyer reserves the right to collect wheat in an earlier position than nominated to match vessel movements with appropriate adjustment to premium for the new movement position.

* This quality standard represents the minimum standard required to ensure full guaranteed premium value. An additional £3 premium ( total £15 /mt ) may be available for growers achieving 15/76/13/275 superior specification in the event that the overall quality profile of the intake meets receivers highest grade requirements. Protein fallbacks will guarantee the buyer receives at least the standard UKS value for equivalent quality ( 15/76/11/250) and not less than feed value in event of total loss of quality ( 15/72/2)
Pricing
All prices are ex farm. Feed base price is defined as the Nov LIFFE bid price on day of fix minus £8.

Current AIC01 Contract to apply insofar as they are not inconsistent with these terms.
All wheat must be sound and of merchantable quality, free from ergot, animal droppings, and must be sweet smelling and free of damage due to incorrect drying. Wheat must be free from infestation with any known grain pests, and must not have been treated with insecticidal, fungicidal or any other chemical treatment other than those approved by DEFRA or equivalent body. Wheat shall be free from any contamination with glass or metal or other foreign objects. All contracted wheat must be produced on farms which are part of ACCS or equivalent farm scheme, and all deliveries must comply with the AIC Grain Passport Scheme.
