Shoreham Silo Service (SSS), part of the Bartholomews Group, today announced their continued commitment to users of the facility, by fixing 2016 storage and drying prices for the 2017 harvest.
After twelve years of continuous investment into the site at Shoreham Port, nr Brighton, SSS now handles approximately 200,000 tonnes of grain through the modern drying and storage facility based on the south coast. The location of the facility is key, allowing its users access to markets in the UK and further afield within Europe. These attributes resonate well with the facilities user group, as this year new entrants into the scheme will be placed on a waiting list until space becomes available.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Richard Wright, Operations Director of Shoreham Silos said “We have been extremely busy in the last twelve months continually working to secure new market opportunities. We are pleased to invite growers to attend our annual meeting on Thursday 2nd March to discuss these opportunities further”.
If you are interested in discussing storage options or would like to attend the user meeting (space permitting) on the 2nd March, please contact the grain desk on 01243 755650.
